Michael J. Rousseau was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois. After graduating from Belleville East High School, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Finance from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Mike received his JD from Southern Illinois University School of Law where he served as an Editor for the Law Journal.
Prior to opening his own law practice in 2004, Mike worked as an Assistant State's Attorney and an Assistant Public Defender for St. Clair County, Illinois. He currently serves as a guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children in St. Clair County.
Mike has extensive trial experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. He represents numerous clients across Southern Illinois, including St. Clair, Madison, Monroe, Washington, Randolph, Jackson, Franklin, Jefferson, Clinton, and Williamson Counties.
Mike resides in Caseyville, Illinois with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons. They attend First Baptist Church in O'Fallon, Illinois.
